Orange County Virginia Drunk Driving Accident
The Virginia State Police is investigating a drunk driving accident that occurred in Orange County, Virginia, on June 15, 2021.
The VSP reports that the crash occurred around 2:10 pm. on June 15th when a 2013 Honda Civic crossed a double-solid yellow center line while traveling at a high rate of speed and attempting to pass a 2014 Mercedes.
The driver of the Honda lost control of the vehicle, ran off the side of the road, over-corrected, and collided with the Mercedes. The impact caused the Mercedes to hit a tree and then catch fire.
The driver of the Mercedes was a 21-year-old woman who suffered life-threatening injuries and was flown to VCU Medical Center for treatment.
